   This is the thing I can’t stand about Chinese stories set in the modern
   real world, it always, ALWAYS has to turn into propaganda at some point.
   China is always just minding it’s own business while every other
   country has nefarious ambitions to conquer it, so it’s always
   justifiable to raise hell in those countries in “retaliation”.The mc
   literally paints the US as a bloodthirsty warmonger trying to conquer
   other countries in the guise of “democracy” and barely a few panels
   later, justifies the unprovoked wiping out of millions of innocent
   civilians by claiming that anyone of them could become a threat to the
   oh so magnanimous “Great Xia” simply because it’s a world where anyone
   can become a warrior.I really hate that we can never have a
   read-when-bored Chinese story set in the modern world without it
   inevitably devolving into some sickening political propaganda being
   regurgitated down our throats.
